These Terms of Service govern your use of Scrold. By accessing or using the service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Scrold is a community-built catalog and tracker for webtoons — a place to browse titles, rate and review them, build playlists, and track what you read across languages. Catalog metadata (titles, synopses, cover images, genres, and links) is gathered from public sources and contributed by the community, and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

We are an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Naver, Kakao, LINE WEBTOON, or any other platform or rights holder.

You must be old enough under your local law to enter into these terms and to use online services without parental consent. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and notify us of any unauthorized use.

You retain ownership of the content you create, such as reviews, ratings, and playlists. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the service.

You are responsible for your content and confirm that you have the right to post it and that it does not violate the law or the rights of others. We may remove content that breaches these terms.

Do not use the service to post unlawful, infringing, hateful, or abusive content; to harass others; to scrape, overload, or disrupt the service; to attempt unauthorized access; or to misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

Webtoon titles, synopses, cover art, and related materials are the property of their respective authors, publishers, and platforms. They are shown here for identification and informational purposes, and we link to official sources where possible. No ownership of those materials is claimed by us.

If you are a rights holder and believe material on the service infringes your rights, contact us with enough detail to identify the material and your rights, and we will review and respond, removing infringing material where appropriate.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the catalog is accurate or complete, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the service.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or to protect the service or its users.

We may modify the service or these terms. When we change the terms we will revise the "last updated" date above, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the site owner's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. (The site owner should confirm the governing jurisdiction.)
